After observing all the creative activities of BPDA for a long time, the project director of the world’s first established filaria hospital, Chairman of IACIB Professor Dr. Moazzem Hossain entrusted BPDA with reviving the dispossessed hospital and managing it with new enthusiasm. Later, Dr. Moazzem Hossain completed an affidavit (agreement) on behalf of BPDA with General Secretary of Central Committee and Chairman of Executive Committee Rakibul Islam at Rangpur Notary Public Office on 06/07/2019 to rescue and manage the hospital. In the light of the said agreement, Dr. Moazzem Hossain provided training to 150 members of BPDA and handed over certificates to the trainees on 28 October 2019. In addition, IACIB chairman administered the oath to the newly elected leaders of the central committee of BPDA and provided several batches of training to BPDA members from all over the country. Later, Chairman of IACIB inaugurated an administrative office at Circuit House Lane, Dhap, Rangpur to manage various activities of Rangpur Division including Syedpur Filaria Hospital.
