BPDA is a professional body. Various social activities are conducted through this organization. For example: emergency financial support to members, tree planting programs, supporting the poor and needy in various natural calamities by providing financial and health services and cooperating and participating in any voluntary activities of the government. Also, through BPDA Health Education Training and Technology Limited and Disability Human Rights Welfare Organization, primary health protection for women, employment generation for women, mental development and rehabilitation of people with disabilities including filariasis are being created through handicraft and cottage industry and sewing training. BPDA and Syedpur Filaria and General Hospital and Lab are also working to expand the market of their products. In addition, special teams trained by BPDA along with specialist doctors of Filaria and General Hospital and Lab are regularly working to deliver the benefits of medical services to remote areas. Medicines for filariasis and other diseases are being provided free of cost to the poor families.
