Presently the world’s first established filaria hospital Syedpur filaria and general hospital and lab and administrative office GP center has been inaugurated in Rangpur. Nationwide work on augmentation of GP centers is ongoing. The MBBS/BDS doctors will refer the patients to specialist doctors according to the disease after discussion with the patient to provide proper treatment to the patients referred by BPDA members from all districts and upazilas of Rangpur division. In this, patients can consult specialist doctors according to their disease and get better treatment and relief from suffering. A pilot project in this regard has first started in Rangpur. The work of implementation in all departmental cities and districts of the country is ongoing.
