BPDA has established hospitals, diagnostic clinics and GP centers on a single, joint and partnership basis in each department, district and upazila of the country with MBBS, BDS, DMF, medical technologists, graduate, post-graduate manpower and one paramedic doctor at union level and private community clinic at ward level. Health workers through placements are creating massive employment by providing contractual employment. Unemployment reduction, especially women’s empowerment, employment and health protection are doing a lot of work. Community Based Health Service Improvement Project (CBHIP) under the joint management of Disability Human Rights Welfare Organization (DHRWO), Bangladesh Paramedical Doctors Association (BPDA) and Syedpur Filaria and General Hospital and Lab is playing a major role in creating employment across the country. In addition, by providing technical training to the unemployed population through the implementation of the entrepreneurship creation and skill development project and the BIDA action plan, especially managed by the Prime Minister’s Office, they are working to achieve the GDP growth rate consistently.
